The Sokoto Eclipse Kaftan is a statement in refined minimalism — a harmony of light and shadow. Crafted in a bold palette of black and ivory, this bubu balances traditional batik artistry with contemporary geometry. One half is adorned with lunar-inspired circular motifs, while the other reveals rhythmic hand-dyed wave patterns, symbolizing duality and balance.

Each Avadote piece is made from small batches of hand dyed textiles using batik wax to achieve our own formulated colors and prints and produced in Nigeria working with local artisans.
